**Professional Itinerary: Day Trip to Essaouira**

Commence your journey from Marrakech promptly at 08:00 am for a scenic 3-hour drive to the captivating coastal city of Essaouira.

Upon arrival in this historic port city, formerly known as Mogador, immerse yourself in its enchanting sights, including the iconic ocher-colored walls, the picturesque Moulay El Hassan square, and the bustling souks, as well as the quaint alleys of the city’s ancient Medina.

Indulge in a delightful lunch featuring freshly caught fish at a local restaurant, sampling the flavors of the Atlantic Coast.

Throughout your excursion, visit an association of Berber women producing argan oil, explore the vibrant local markets, and admire the exquisite craftsmanship in the jeweler’s quarter.

1 Day from Casablanca to Rabat

Hassan II Mosque (Pass By)

Mausoleum of Mohammad V 

After 1-Hour driving to the Grand Islamic mausoleum in Rabat, was built between 1961 and 1971, following the death of King Mohammed V in 1961. The mausoleum was designed by the Vietnamese architect Nguyen Viet Thu, and construction was carried out by Moroccan artisans and craftsmen. it features impressive Islamic architecture, intricate marble work. The tombs are made of white onyx and situated beneath a large dome.

Royal Palace of Rabat

After 15 minutes. we will reach a grand palace built in 1864s during the reign of Sultan Mohammed IV, is the official residence of the King of Morocco. The palace features traditional Moroccan architecture, ornate ironwork, and intricate telework. While visitors are not allowed inside the palace, they can view if from the outside and enjoy the surrounding gardens. It remains an important cultural and historical site in Rabat

Hassan Tower

10 minute to reach a minaret Hassan Tower, adjacent to the ruins of an unfinished mosque. Construction of the mosque and mineral began in the 12th century during the reign of the Almohad ruler, Yacoub al-Mansour. the tower stands at 44 meters (140 feet) tall and features intricate decorative details, such as calligraphy and geometric patterns. 

Bab Chellah 

10-minute ride, we arrive to a historical site known for its beautiful gardens, ancient ruins, and a famous gateway called “Bar Chellah” which dates back to the Almohad dynasty. 

Andalusian Gardens 

in about 10-minutes. to a beautiful, traditional garden. it was built in the early 20th century by the French architect Jean-Claude Forestier. it features a central reflecting pool, orange trees, flower beds, fountains, pavilions, pergolas, and ornate tile work and gates, all characteristic of the Andalusian garden style.

Ancient Walls Medina Rabat 

5-minute to reach a historic fortification dating back to the 12th century, made of sandstone and reinforced with bastions, gates, and towers. they surround the old city of Rabat, and visitors walk along them to enjoy views of Medina and surrounding area. 

Kasbah des Oudaias 

in 5-minute to a 12th-century citadel. Kasbah known for its narrow streets, white and blue walls, small houses, and flowers-filled courtyards. it has several landmarks, including a mosque, museum .

1. **Departure from Fez to Ifrane**:
– Early morning departure from Fez towards Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine architecture and mountain atmosphere.
– Arrival in Ifrane: Stroll through the clean and well-maintained streets of this charming city, admire the European architecture and take photos of the surrounding landscapes.

2. **Activities in Ifrane**:
– Visit Ifrane National Park: Enjoy a walk in this magnificent park, with its cedar forests and peaceful lakes. You can even go on a light hike to explore more of the surrounding nature.
– Explore the ski resort: If you are traveling in winter, you can consider visiting the Ifrane ski resort and maybe even go skiing or snowboarding.

3. **Road to Azrou**:
– After exploring Ifrane, take the road to Azrou, a town famous for its cedar forests and monkey monkeys.
